Job Description:/h3:
Essential Functions/Key accountabilities:
:
Supervision of work conducted by maintenance mechanics, contractors, and service personnel to assure efficient coordination and completion of assigned projects as scheduled.
:
Coordinate maintenance project activities by scheduling work, monitoring performance and providing technical expertise and direction to ensure that work is performed in a safe, timely and productive manner.
:
Provide trouble shooting, problem analysis and technical support to the team and plant as needed
:
Determine plant maintenance requirements by following preventive and predictive maintenance programs and reviewing, evaluating, and prioritizing maintenance work requests in order to establish job steps, estimate man:hours, and specify part and equipment needs.
:
Provide maintenance training for the mechanics by presenting instruction on job:related skills and proper equipment repair procedures.
:
Ensure that safety is built into each job assigned and that work is performed in an efficient and safe manner.
:
Perform short:ranged and long:range planning for scheduled and forced outages by participating in:plant planning meetings and formulating plans and programs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure timely, efficient and safe repairs.
:
Coordinate work interfaces with other plant departments to accomplish repairs in a timely and safe manner.
:
Prepare and maintain various reports and records that are required to verify the completion of plant maintenance work and provide historical information for future maintenance planning.
:
Recommend and implement improvements, which will maximize the efficiency of maintenance work and reduce future maintenance requirements.
:
Provide guidance and assistance to employees in the preparation of maintenance work requests.
:
Review Work Orders for completeness and accuracy.
:
Determine plant maintenance requirements by helping implement the preventive maintenance programs, evaluating maintenance work requests and coordinate manpower needs, work prioritization, parts procurement and equipment scheduled outages.
:
Establish and manage adherence to the operating unit maintenance budgets.
:
Lead teams in achievement of existing goals.
:
All other duties as assigned

Required:
:
Associates degree in Engineering or related field preferred not required.
:
Minimum 1 years supervisor experience.
:
Five to ten years experience in a manufacturing environment preferably Food, Beverage or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods).
