The Project ManagerA?s focus is to operationalize team activities. The Project Manager works together with the functional technical experts to develop a project timeline and then manage/update that timeline throughout the course of the project. The Project Manager develops agendas for project team meetings and provides a record of meetings by generating the meeting minutes. The Project Manager follows up and communicates with team members regarding project status, agreements and action items. The Project Manager develops, organizes and maintains a database of all relevant documentation for each project in support of the team. He/she will be a high functioning, highly adaptable resource for the team and will conduct project work including surveys, interviews, project management and functional representation as part of the Celldex Operations team. The scope of responsibilities extends from early to late Stage clinical programs. The position reports to Senior Director, Supply and Operations Management.Establishes, communicates and executes plans that drive toward established project milestones.Identifies ways to accelerate the project execution where possible while maintaining high quality standards.Prospectively identifies and escalates potential issues/risks or obstacles and either achieves resolution or plans contingencies. Follows issues through to resolution.Promotes collaboration, cooperation and communication across functions and between alliance/vendor partners to ensure that the team achieves goals. For each Project:Builds, maintains and controls the project schedule.Tracks progress made on municates the status of the project to appropriate anizes and facilitates project team meetings, develops meeting agendas, issues meeting minutes, and tracks action items to completion.Identifies activities on the critical path.Maintains and organizes all files related to a project (i.e. timelines, minutes, related documents) in a way that is clear and accessible to project team members.Ensures projects and project teams are properly set up, team roles and responsibilities are clear, deliverables and risks are identified, and detailed project schedules are in place.Identifies and escalates issues and mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.Applies project management best practices in the planning, alignment, initiation, execution, control, and closing of projects.BA/BS degree is required. Understanding Project Management methodologies is preferred5+ years of project management experience within biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations setting with at least 3 years of managing complex projects.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Working knowledge of functional BLA and NDA components/requirements is preferred.Team player with demonstrated ability to prospectively identify issues and to influence key project decisions to achieve positive outcomes.Experience managing projects with team members in multiple locations.Experience managing internal resources and external contractors/vendors.Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time with team satisfaction.Proficiency in MS Office software including: Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Project and PowerPoint. Experienced in meeting facilitation.Strong interpersonal skills; fluent and able to influence others in spoken and written English.Ability to travel up to 10.
